According to the new travel regulation of Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre it is now requested for all passengers to fill the self-declaration form to ease contact tracing and avoid unnecessary gathering in the check-in counter during their travel. Please bring the issued barcode in a printed version or the screens

Considering everyone’s safety during a pandemic; passengers above age 70 are restricted from flying. Moreover, passengers with chronic health conditions that last 1 year or more and require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living or both are also prohibited from flying.  

PCR Test for passengers traveling in domestic flights is not yet mandatory. However, if the ticket holder contains any symptoms related to COVID-19 then he/she will be forfeited from traveling and regarded as a no-show.

Buddha Air has all the necessary equipment to check the symptoms of COVID-19 and screening your temperature and making necessary queries to certain passenger’s health status will be executed. Besides, all passengers will be disembarked four at a time from the rear and loaded on the ramp bus at 75% seating capacity. Hence, we can assure that you will be safe with us.

Our counters will be closed 15 minutes before boarding, therefore all passengers will be informed accordingly to report at the airport at least 1 hour 30 minutes before flight time.

Due to the COVID-19 we are not allowing pets on flight, however, the decision is for the intervening period and will be announced until next notice. We regret for your inconvenience.

Yes, our staff will provide you with hand sanitizers in the counter. However, we request you to carry your personal one as well to avoid any risk of infection.

Airport restaurants are open with reduced operating hours and grab-and-go food service with strict social distancing measures at restaurants, coffee shop and other utilities.

Yes, it is mandatory for all passengers to wear mask in the airport premises and during the flight. Please make sure the mask you will be wearing is up to the standard and covers your mouth and nose suitably.

Due to COVID-19 no onboard catering services shall be made available, however, water shall be provided only upon the request.

Due to COVID-19 and its infections lavatory will be shut during the fight. We request passengers to use the lavatory available on the airport premises.

We strongly advise elderly, pregnant women and those with health complications to avoid air travel as these people are more vulnerable to infections. Furthermore, stringent screening will be done at the check-in counter to identify symptomatic and highly susceptible passengers, and they will be barred from flying for the health and safety of all concerned.

In case of passengers experiencing symptoms indicative of respiratory illness it is recommended to seek medical attention and share their travel history with their healthcare provider.
