As a leading domestic airline of Nepal, safety is not just a priority, but an imperative for us. We invest heavily in our infrastructure and training to ensure safety.
• Our hangar is the only MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) in Nepal. Our closed door hangar is certified part 145 Aircraft Maintenance from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
• Our employees are also trained on a regular basis. From baggage handlers to pilots, these trainings are approved by CAAN and International Air Transport Association (IATA).
• Our compliance department is responsible for carrying our scheduled internal audits. We also successfully completed an AvMaSSI Operational Safety Audit program on 15 April 2016. The audit comprised of a harmonized series of international best practices based on International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annexes, to assess the safety status of all operational disciplines of Buddha Air.
• Buddha Air, through Flight Data Monitoring, analyzes every aircraft from the moment the engine starts to the moment it stops.
With over 20 years of trusted flying, we leave no stone unturned to ensure and uphold the highest safety standards.
