Updated Operations Manuals as per EU-Ops Standards
  1. Independent Training Division under Accountable Manager for pilot licensing and training; in compliance with ICAO Annex 1 requirements
  2. Every crew’s performance evaluated continuously
  3. Random LOSA and Ramp audits at all stations
  4. Technical performance, CRM and crew behavior, including emotional stress is confidentially reported immediately
  5. Non punitive confidential reporting reinforced
  6. Crew License – Single fleet and 3.6 PIC for each aircraft


  1. Crew management
    1. Maintain half day flights and targeting not more than 6 landing (CAAN limit 10 landings)
    2. Targeting 4th day leave (CAAN limit 7th day) and no more than 65 flight hours in a calendar month (CAAN limit 100 hours)
    3. Chair holder pilots are maintaining 40 flight hours per month
    4. Line Checks are conducted quarterly through a standard format prepared internally
    5. Flight Safety conducts annual pre-monsoon briefing to all crews before the start of the monsoon
    6. Certified Instructors from Technical Department conducts six monthly recurrent ground classes to all crews
    7. Monthly management meeting with the Chief Executive and bi-monthly crew meeting is conducted with agendas and minutes.
  2. Crew Training
    1. Minimum requirement for PIC upgrade – ATPL, 3,000+ flight hours and four monsoons plus satisfactory technical evaluation and aptitude. Not less than 24 years old
    2. 50 IP and 50 Sr. Captain hours including one monsoon after check ride then 100 colleague hours before flying with senior First Officers
    3. Commanders are trained in Simulators to handle from right seats
    4. First officers inducted with 250 initial turboprop flying hours, then type rated at least 6 + 6 hours in Fixed Based Simulator and 24 + 24 hours in Full flight Simulators excluding the ground classes and at least 50 IP hours or; till the IP Board is satisfied
    5. Safety Pilots required for initial F/O till satisfied
    6. All performance during training is monitored and any substandard performance is put for a formal corrective training
    7. Performance of Pilots are monitored during all annual/six monthly recurrent/refresher trainings and relevant program is followed as per the deficiency pointed out by the Trainer carrying out the training
    8. Remedial training is carried out as per recommendation of the Trainer and the Training Committee which may include ground, simulator and Line Training or as required
    9. Send all cockpit crews refresher, type rate and upgrade trainings at aircraft dedicated six axis full motion simulators
    10. Annual/six monthly recurrent trainings simulations are four hours for each crew systematically covering but not limited to the followings:
      1. Engine Failure, Engine Fire at V1
      2. Unusual attitude recovery
      3. Total electrical failure, flight control and/or hydraulic failure
      4. Landing gear collapse, force landing
      5. Smoke detection
      6. Hazardous weather, wind shear avoidance
      7. CRM training
      8. CFIT, GPWS/EGPWS, TCAS actual warning and recovery
    11. Strength of Human Resource in Operations Department

    12. An independent Department for Corporate Safety and QA has been constituted, which covers, Flight Operations, Flight Dispatch, Cabin Crew, Ground Operations, Cargo, Security and Organization as per IATA requirement:
      1. SMS (Safety Management System) implemented throughout the Company
      2. FDM:
        1. 100% Flight Profile monitoring of ATRs through Cassopee FDM Services of Sagem Group
        2. In-house monthly 16 random flight profile monitoring of B1900Ds
        3. Continuous FOQA
      3. Ten Auditors have been certified by IATA for Corporate QA to audit the above mentioned sections
    13. ERP effective
