In the context of domestic airlines of Nepal besides the uncompromising need for cozy travel and swiftness, a prime concern of overall passengers is “Safety” and Buddha Air is the pioneer to set the benchmark since its establishment. With a huge effort to immune the entire fleet in 2020 against the COVID-19, the entire team of Buddha Air earned a massive trust among the valued passenger ensuring the massive number of passenger flying with us that eventually broke the record of 7000 and more to 15 different domestic destinations simultaneously increasing the flight frequency. Aircraft Maintenance is the key where the overall safety of the aircraft revolves around and it involves subtle technical observation to overall aircraft engineering for infallible maintenance. In 2021 we have an additional approach to push the standards of safety and maintenance. A new enhanced aircraft added to our fleet now serves our purpose to schedule the remaining thirteen aircraft to several destinations while one remains under observation and maintenance in our fully up-to-date hangar that can accommodate Airbus 320 or Boeing 737. We believe that without compromising with the demand of our valued passengers and delaying the services we can still maintain the new goal of safety stimulating and performing the routine check.
Besides the all-new approach of safety our hangar with international standard storage facilities currently holds inventory worth US$ 1 billion that is plentiful to operate all sorts of aircraft maintenance and emergencies. Despite our adept technical team of experts in the base we do own a sole domestic operator to voluntarily incorporate a Flight Data Monitoring System for continuous analysis and monitoring of flights to enhance the overall flight safety. Hence we pride ourselves on our diverse workforce operating 24/7 to push the standard of safety to the new height to earn confidence, reliance, and trust.
