All the Best Summiteers

Glaciers melting and landscapes changing are considered global phenomena. Newly formed glacial lakes are in a verge of destruction. To highlight the impact of changing weather conditions and the importance of Himalayas, an event organized by National Trust for Nature Conservation will be held at the Copenhagen Climate Summit on December 11, 2009. The event carries a theme "Summiteers' Summit to Save the Himalayas" with an objective to call upon the world community to help save the Himalayas. Renowned Everest summiteer Appa Sherpa along with more than 26 Everest summiteers, 4 Ministers and 10 journalists from Nepal, will be joined by other mountain lovers to delve into the issue.

Buddha Air, being a part of the society and blending in the same environment, cannot be separated from this critical issue. In order to make this event successful, Buddha Air has sponsored for Ms. Shaili Basnet, one of the Everest summiteers participating at the summit, for her expenses at Copenhagen. Buddha Air further extends its best wishes towards the successful accomplishment of the event.

CODE Change from BHA to U4

The designator code will be used in reservations, schedules, timetables, telecommunications, ticketing, cargo documentation, legal tariff and other commercial traffic purposes. This transformation is needed as Buddha Air is starting international flight operations and IATA code is necessary for its commencement.
