Every year a lot of tourists visit Nepal. As per the data of 2018, Nepal Tourism Board recorded 1,173,072 tourists visiting Nepal. Among them, India secured the first position 2, 00,438 number of tourists visiting Nepal.
According to the Visa policy of Nepal, Indian nationals do not require a visa to enter Nepal. As per the Nepali Immigration, Indian Nationals travelling to Nepal by air must possess any one of the following documents.

• Valid National Passport
• Voter ID issued by the Government of India

Note:

• Aadhaar (UID) card is not accepted as a travel document while traveling Nepal.
